My names Mackenzie Tricker, Im 14 years old, i live in Sydney, Australia. I live for motocross my life revolves around it! Im supported by the NSW YAMAHA JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT TEAM and currently ride a yz 125 and yz 250. I first started riding at the age of 5 on a pee-wee 50 when i nagged my dad over and over again to race at a local minikana club. i fastly grew out of minikana and started racing motocross events at oakdale motocross club on my KTM 65 & KTM 85. i started moving up the ranks and in 2007 i started to race at state level on my KTM 85. i didnt started getting the results i wanted until the start of 2008 aboard my crf 150, mid way through 2008 i turned 13 and was able to step up onto the bigger bikes, which was a big releif as i struggled riding my 150 as my size affected my riding. i raced a crf 250 and a ktm 125 for the rest of 2008 and then i was offered a awsome oppurtuntiy to be part of the NSW YAMAHA JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT TEAM for 2009, i went ahead with deal, and i can now say it was the best thing i have ever done and it has improved my riding and the way i look at diffrent things, i have alot of support from my family, my team manager nik sullivan, my sponsors, Y-AIM, there helping me get where i wanna be in a few years on the top podium at the FIM womans world championships.
My riding wouldnt be possible without the help of my parents, they give up all the time for me and spend alot of there hard earned money on my bikes, entrys fees, fuel and accomidation. Nk sullivan my team manager, he helps me out whenever i need it, he is awsome, he gives up alot of his spare time to prepare things for me and the rest of the team. shane booth, i have only been training with him for about 6-8 months now, and my riding as improve alot since, he helps me with many diffrent little things that i struggle with! i have alot of experience on a bike and have trained with some of the best coaches in australia if not the world, my parents put alot of effort into my riding they give up all of there spare time to take me training and racing. i go to the gym 2-3 times a week for 1-2hrs and ride once a week with my team members and coach shane booth. |
